Meritorious serVICE

The Meritorious Service page honors the many individuals whose behind-the-scenes dedication helped shape the legacy of the Clearwater Bombers.

From city mayors who championed the team, to athletic trainers, bat boys, Bomber Girls, umpires, boosters, radio announcers, sports reporters, concessionaires, traveling secretaries and even two quilt makers...this page is a tribute to those whose contributions, though often unsung, were essential to the Bombers’ success and the growth of fastpitch softball in Clearwater. Their service, spirit, and steadfast support exemplify the community pride that made the Bombers more than just a team; they made them a tradition.
